Problem when moving files

I have some directories/files pertaining to settings for Firefox Thunderbird etc.
These directories/files contain characters like {1BC9BA34-1EED-42ca-A505-6D2F1A935BBB}{d37dc5d0-431d-44e5-8c91-49419370caa1} etc.
When I copy mother backup directory to other drive, it works fine. All directories/files are copied.
When I move a warning message comes up "Directory not empty" and JM shuts without moving these as well rest of files in source directory.
This is happening in JM only not in other File Managers.
Thank you

Re: Problem when moving files

Oh one more sir,
After copying files when the source directory is chosen to delete, again JM displays same warning and shuts down.
Thank you.

Re: Problem when moving files

Cannot reproduce this problem.
"Use shell" option on Configuration > Settings... > File operations page turned off?

Re: Problem when moving files

nleontiev Sir,
I did not have time to test it because the directories involved are very large, but I will share my results when I test it in a day or two Sir.
Thank you.

Re: Problem when moving files

I did some homework on this issue by moving complete directory (2.32gb) 3-4 times and here are results.
For the fist time warning message come up "Directory not empty" and JM shut without moving rest of source files. Then I UN-ticked Shell. Second time I found that the following files needed confirmation to delete when moving tut the move kept on after confirmation :
desktop.ini
index.dat
Then I again ticked Shell and moved again. This time it again asked above confirmation but kept moving.
Thank you
