crash when filtering

JM a47 crashes quite often when filtering

my settings: Type: Filter, Shortcut: Letter, Starts with filter (checked)
hopefully you can reproduce this issue.

still crashing even after resetting setting.

ok, crash is 100% reproducible, even in virt.machine.

steps to reproduce:
change settings as written in post #1
navigate to a folder which contains many files & folders
set view to "list"
press a char to filter
press "ESC" right after
-> crash

Try download 0.1 Alpha 47 again and check. I added one bug fix.
