#1 Re: Bugs and Problems » Copy - Paste » 2013-12-03 23:04:40

When I copy and paste by using Menu-Edit-Copy everything is OK.
But by using right click menu it doesn't work.

Hi Nikita,

Copy and paste doesn't seem to work when I close JM in between.
When I perform the same operation in Windows Explorer everything works.

Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a setting I can adjust?

Regards,
Piet

Best wishes for 2013, Nikita.
I hope it will bring everything you wish for.
Good luck on developing JustManager.

OK, I understand.
But I did not mean to open a file in another panel.
I would like to shift an already opened folder to another panel.
Without going back first and selecting the folder.

I have a few locked tabs (navigation allowed).
It seems that the backward and forward buttons don't work on these tabs.
The buttons work OK on not locked tabs.

Is this intended?
I can understand this limitation on fully locked tabs.
But on locked tabs (navigation allowed) this feature could be usefull.

Is "Open selection in nearest panel" only working for a selected folder?
And not for a selected file?

If so, can this feature be added?
Because, many times I'm already in a folder on a file level.
Than I have to go back to the folder before I can shift it to the nearest panel.

Is "Option to set tab index that should be active on startup" going to be implemented?
And if so, when will this be?

What does "one click activate" on panels settings exactly mean?
What does it do?

How do I make a JM theme?

Is there a tutorial available?

Yes, that would be great!

#14 Re: Suggestions » Tab features » 2012-12-09 13:37:19

1. Indeed JM selects tabs that were active at program exit.
That's exactly my point.
I would like to set certain tabs to be selected at startup.
Not the ones that were active at program exit.

2. I would really appreciate if you would add a setting that not locked tabs will be removed at exit.

I have two suggestions concerning JM Tab features.

1. Is it possible to have focus on specific tabs on JM startup?
Now the default behaviour is that focus remains on the last opened tab.

2. Is it possible that tabs that are not locked are not shown on JM next startup?
Now the default behaviour is that they stay.
By adding this feature locked tabs will have a main/top position in JM.
Other tabs will be temporarily unless you lock them first.

#16 Re: Discussions » Jumping to files/folders by pressing the first letters/numbers name » 2012-12-04 22:05:46

My settings for Quick search are:

Type = Search
Shortcut = Letter
Starts with filter

But it still does not work with numbers?
Letters are OK.
When I type a letter a field is opened with that letter and the first folder with that name is selected.
When I type a number in that field it also works.
But typing directly does not do anything.

#17 Re: Discussions » Jumping to files/folders by pressing the first letters/numbers name » 2012-12-04 19:10:41

Thank you. This seems to only work with folders/files with names (letters).
With folders/files that have a number as name this does not work.
Typing the number toggles Command Prompt.

Can this feature be added?

I would like to have a feature added to JM.
In Windows Explorer when you want to go to a file or folder, pressing the first letters or numbers of the name brings you that file or folder.
This is very handy when there are many files/folders in a directory.
Is this possible?

#19 Re: Translations » Dutch translation » 2012-10-14 11:10:53

OK, please send me the translation lines that were changed.
I will add them to the Dutch.lng.

#20 Re: Translations » Dutch translation » 2012-10-14 09:35:16

Everything is working now!

I will perform a check with the programs interface if everything is OK.
After that I will email you the file.
On what address would you like to receive the file?

I like to maintain/update the translation in the future as the program evolves.
What are your ideas about this?
And how will I know if some lines are changed/removed/added?

Regards,
Piet

Hi,

First of all, thanks for this great program.
I stumbled on it when I was on Softpedia.
I thought I would give it a try.
And I really like it.

I have just finished translating JM to Dutch.
I would like to test it, but somehow I can't get it to work.
The Dutch language can be selected, but the interface stays English.

I use the portable installation 64-bits.
I am on Windows 7 SP1 64-bits.

I started translating last friday on alpha 17.
And I finished today on alpha 18.
As far as I can see there is only one line added in the English.lng file between the versions.
I added this line to.
On alpha 17 everything was OK, I could test the Dutch translation.
But not on alpha 18?

Regards,
Piet
