well this seem to be some sort of limitation...
ATM justmanager will not open a favorite folder from the nav. panel when active tab is locked:
10.02.2014 21:31:37 CPM::IsActionBlocked Navigation not allowed, because tab is locked, panel: 0000000001DD5340
in my opinion, the fav. folder should be opened in a new tab rather than doing nothing.
update: when clicking on .. in a locked tab a new tab is opened. when clicking on blank space nothing happens.

Can you describe steps to reproduce?
click to select first picture then shift select the 8th picture, normally all pictures from 1st to 8th should be selected, instead the selection is increased as described.
You were able to reproduce this porblem on Win 7?

I guess something is wrong with the color selection in the dialog, as the color is changed in the field of the Text column. the color selection in the font dialog has no effect.

to reproduce navigate to a partition using small letters (eg d:\ instead of D:\) , then drag & drop to ".." will create a copy instead of moving the file/folder:

I have issues when using JM on WHS, eg. when shift-selecting eight pictures (red), JM selects ten pictures instead (red + purple).
Is WHS supported? or should I better not use JM on WHS?

tested in a51, to reproduce create a file under linux eg. "test*file.txt".
now in windows drag & drop this file to a folder, while this will not work in WinExplorer as the file contains an invalid char JM crashes.

what keeps me from switching completely to JM is because some in my opinion indispensable
features like quick filter and flat view are not implemented yet. see:

as I could not find any roadmap, is there a change to come to know when these two fundamental
features will find their way into JM?
any other serious FM (e.g. FreeCommander, DOPUS) has this functionality.

1. same view icons as in winexplorer
other FM use the same icons as winexplorer to change view settings, this should be applied in JM as well in my opinion.
2. incorporate change views in RMB context menu as in winexplorer when clicking somewhere in panel
3. toggle views via CTRL+middle mouse as in winexplorer

Is Recycle Bin access really required?
no, but some FM support it.
image the possibilities: eg. after deletion, sort by name/size etc. to quickly find & restore a file.
or navigate rec.bin then turn on quick view to preview which file to restore....
pretty useful feature in my opinion, once you get used to it.
edit: though, if you'd asked me to choose I'd rather prefer "quick filter bar" & "flat view" instead of that feature.

Yes, this menu is returned empty. Shell constructs it, not JM.
in win explorer navigate to desktop, deselect anything, then RMB. the menu entry is NOT created.

Can't reproduce.
I can't reproduce it either at the moment, but still I don't understand
why the column width changes in detail view when a file is moved:
from my understanding something is wrong here. or how is this meant to work?

also comes handy in settings window, avoids opening the help file from time to time:

step to reproduce another issue with this option
1. check "Adjust columns to panel width"
2. change to detail view navigate somewhere
3. uncheck "Adjust columns to panel width"
4. change to list view
-> file/folder names are truncated & look different than before applying above steps in list view

I second the proposal for an explicit quick filter bar, wherever it may be located.
Almost every decent FM has this functionality nowadays even xplorer^2:
