Panel area becomes a bit smaller, so filter bar does not hide any item.
Actually, filter bar is a hidden panel just bellow file panel area. Just like Firefox Search bar.
I mean just bellow address bar so filter don't hide address bar.
If I lose focus on filter bar, I really want it to stay, so I can see which filter is working just now. I should be able to close filter bar (filter off) when I wanna view all files.

Nomad.NET has similar filter bar. Even Firefox search bar is something like I talking about.
Sorry for my poor English. Thank you for your reply.
Quick search (filter) is a great feature but I think it would be better if you locate filter bar bottom (or top) file view, not over address bar. In addition, filter bar should not hide until filter is active.
That is the way other filemanagers work, like Dolphin or Nomad.NET.
Will Just Manager be released as open source some day? Any chance? Maybe at more advanced development state?
You could think you are losing time and effort if you share the code with the community. I don't think so. Open source projects have many advantages. We could talk about it, if you like.
Thank you again for Just Manager.
thank you!
Bug fixed, OK. But if I can't use splitter to hide or remove second panel. If I drag splitter right most, second panel still is there, with ugly tiny width.
My suggestion is just a panel layout settings shortcut. This could not be very difficult to develop.
I tried to use splitter to hide second panel but you can drag splitter beyond width window and you loose split (this is a bug). Anyway I prefer dual/single button method. It's easier than drag splitter and later find splitter (and don't click over window border).
I think this feature is not too difficult to implement and it would be nice to meny users, like me. It's just a button, you can use it or not.
Thank you again for Just Manager.
Sometimes you just focus on a single folder (view, open...), other times you foccus on two folders (copy, move). When you focus on a single folder you don't need second panel, you just want all space for your working folder.
File managers like Nomad.NET (Windows), Dolphin (Windows/Linux) and Nautilus (Linux) have this feature.
By the way, I added Just Manager to alternativesto.net.
I'd like Just Manager had "Dual panel" and "One panel" buttons at toolbar. So you could switch from one mode to another. Just one click, no need to change settings.
Thank you for Just Manager.
